TRIP PLANNING – BOOKINGS, OPTIONS & INCLUSIONS
- Pricing & Availability: All prices and availability are subject to change until deposits are paid and confirmed by the supplier.
- Planning Fees: Any trip planning fees charged by CP/YTA are non-refundable, even in cases of cancellation, rescheduling, or inability to travel. These fees cover our time, research, and expertise and are separate from supplier costs.

Scope of Services:

For cruises, tours, or packages, we assist with presenting options, securing bookings, and providing advice based on your travel preferences.

For land-based custom itineraries (e.g., hotels, transfers, activities), planning includes two sets of curated options based on your preferences. If additional option sets or significant revisions are requested, a supplemental fee may apply.

Services do not include unlimited revisions, ongoing price monitoring, or managing bookings made outside of CP/YTA.

Booking Timeline (Land Trips):

Once a set of land itinerary options is presented, bookings must be made within ten (10) business days.

If you are not satisfied with the first set of land options, you must notify us within ten (10) business days to receive one (1) additional set. Any further sets will require an additional fee.

Documentation Requirements:

Accurate traveler information (e.g., legal names, birthdates, passport details) is required before options will be presented or bookings made.

We are not responsible for losses, denied boarding, or other issues caused by incorrect or incomplete documentation provided by you.

If booking travel requiring a passport, you assume all risk if passports are expired or delayed in renewal. Non-refundable costs, cancellation fees, or penalties remain your responsibility.

Unforeseen Circumstances: We are not responsible for cancellations, disruptions, or delays caused by natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or other events beyond our control.

Third-Party Suppliers: CP/YTA acts solely as an intermediary and is not liable for the acts, omissions, or insolvency of third-party suppliers, including airlines, cruise lines, hotels, or tour operators.
AIRFARE

Airfare Policies: Unless otherwise stated, all airfare is non-refundable and subject to change or cancellation fees set by the airline. These fees are your responsibility.

Airline Rules: Airlines determine their own policies (e.g., baggage fees, seat assignments, refundability), and these are subject to change. Please review the airline’s terms before booking.
Client Responsibilities for Airline Bookings:
By providing information for airfare bookings, you agree that:

Accuracy: You are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:

Full legal name (as it appears on your passport or ID)

Date of birth

Passport details (number, issue/expiration date, country of issue)

Citizenship

Contact information (phone and email)

Any other information required for booking

Consequences of Errors: Any discrepancies (e.g., typos, misspellings, omissions) may result in denied boarding, ticket cancellation, additional fees, or delays.

No Agent Liability: CP/YTA is not responsible for errors or omissions in the information you provide, or for any airline actions such as schedule changes, cancellations, seat reassignments, baggage handling, or boarding decisions.

Correction Costs: You are responsible for any fees or costs to correct errors (e.g., airline change fees, reissuance fees, or new ticket costs).

Data Privacy: Your personal data will be used solely for booking purposes and in accordance with our privacy policy.
TRAVEL PROTECTION (INSURANCE)

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected events such as cancellations, medical emergencies, or interruptions.

Insurance policies vary, and it is your responsibility to review the terms, coverage, and exclusions.

If you decline insurance, you accept full responsibility for any financial losses resulting from unforeseen disruptions.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL, VACCINATIONS & DOCUMENTATION
- Some destinations may deny you entry for prior criminal convictions including DUI charges, felonies, or misdemeanors. You agree to not hold CP/YTA liable for any loss incurred for failure to disclose this information to us prior to booking.
- All passengers are responsible for traveling with the proper documentation, and the name on your documentation must exactly match the name on your reservation. You agree not to hold CP/YTA liable for your failure to have the proper documentation required prior to your travel taking place.
- Some destinations may require proof of specific vaccinations or medical clearances. It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure compliance. We are not liable for denied entry due to failure to meet these requirements.
- Certain destinations may have quarantine requirements or restrictions for travelers with specific health conditions or recent travel histories. It is the traveler's responsibility to verify these requirements before departure.
- Many destinations and/or travel providers require you to be vaccinated against certain viruses or diseases. These decisions are made by the authorities of the destinations you are traveling to or the travel suppliers and can change at any time - even after you have booked your travel. You agree not to hold CP/YTA responsible for these changes and that you will provide us with any documentation needed to comply with these requirements when necessary. You are responsible for any losses that result from a decision to cancel or change your travel plans as a result of such policies. Always check the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for the latest information on vaccinations and travel information.
- When traveling abroad, most countries require that passports be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the date of your return to the U.S. or Canada. In some cases, countries may require visas to be secured prior to travel. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the proper travel documentation (passports, visas, identification, vaccinations, etc.) in order to travel abroad. We strongly suggest confirming your travel documentation needs with the proper government agencies: www.travel.state.gov. Foreign nationals should contact their government for further details and requirements. Travelers without proper documentation may be denied boarding or entry and will not be eligible for refunds, compensation, or rescheduling. CP/YTA is not responsible for any losses incurred due to documentation issues.
- When traveling abroad, it is advised that you register with the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). You can visit https://step.state.gov/step for more information.
- Beginning May 7, 2025, every commercial air traveler must present a REAL ID-compliant driver's license, state-issued enhanced driver's license, or other acceptable forms of identification, such as a valid passport or U.S. military ID, to fly within the United States. Individuals who are unable to verify their identity will not be permitted to enter the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint and will not be allowed to fly.

DISCLOSURES, TERMS & LIABILITY
- All services provided by CP/YTA are subject to your consent and agreement to the Terms and Conditions and the Consumer Disclosure Notice on the Cruise Planners website at: https://www.cruiseplanners.com/terms-%26-conditions and https://www.cruiseplanners.com/consumer-disclosure-notice.
- CP/YTA acts solely as the selling agent for each travel supplier. CP/YTA makes no oral or written warranty, expressed or implied. CP/YTA is not be liable for the acts or omissions of any third-party vendors/suppliers. Port, air, and government taxes are subject to change at any time. Cruise lines reserve the right to reinstate fuel surcharges at their discretion and without notice.
- You acknowledge that traveling involves the risk of a variety of hazards to health and/or safety, including but not limited to, injury, illness, disease, epidemics and/or pandemics. You expressly understand and agree that you assume all such risks associated with traveling whether or not specified herein.
- By committing to any booking/reservation transaction, you further agree to hold CP Franchising, LLC d/b/a Cruise Planners, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, partners, agents, members and employees harmless and release them from any and all liability arising from and/or related to this booking/reservation and your travel activity, including, without limitation, actions or omissions by third party vendors, damage to person or property, illness, delays, and inconvenience.
- By making a reservation/booking, you consent to CP/YTA providing your personal information to the travel suppliers to book your travel.
- It is always recommended that you obtain travel insurance to cover yourself in the event of any unforeseen circumstances that could affect your travel plans, including, without limitation, delays, cancellations, and default by the travel supplier.
- Federal law forbids the carriage of certain hazardous materials, such as aerosols, fireworks, and flammable liquids, aboard aircraft. If you do not understand these restrictions, contact your airline or go to https://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/hazmat_safety/.
